Abstract

This paper aims, through the presentation of specific lines of credit, to bring reflections on possible financial practices for financing small businesses in view of the panorama of uncertainty regarding the duration and impact of the crisis generated by covid-19. The particularities of the current crisis are revealed in a comparative way to the previous crises, highlighting the difficulty in forecasting the need for credit and the low adherence of the lines offered to an emergency situation. To this end, it is proposed to diversify the aid tools with the expansion of credit subsidies, amnesties and extinction of interest, and the necessity of caution in hire credit by small businesses, it is reinforced with careful evaluation and dimensioning of real need for capital in view of business continuity.
