Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • The author agrees to insert, when requested, the title, abstract and keywords both in Portuguese and English.
  • Authors and co-authors should complete all fields of the online registration form, including biography, academic titles, and their ORCID identifier.

Author Guidelines

Articles
1) The article must be unpublished. That is, it shall not be under evaluation nor being previously published in national and/or international journals. It is admissable, however, an article that has been presented at congresses and/or meetings, and as a result, it has been published in proceedings.

2) The article can be submitted in English, Portuguese or Spanish. At the discretion of the Scientific Editor and in exceptional cases, articles in other languages ​​may be accepted.

3) The article must comply with the following parameters: paper size A-4; upper and left margins = 3 cm; bottom and right = 2 cm; The text editor should be Word for Windows 6.0 or later, Times New Roman, size 12, and spacing 1.5. The abstract should be typed in single space.

4) The maximum size is 10,000 words including abstract, keywords, title in Portuguese and English, article itself, tables, graphics, figures, notes and references . The abstract should not exceed 150 words. Five keywords should also be indicated. Works outside this limit will not be evaluated.

5) The first page of the article should contain, in this order, the title, abstract, key words and area of ​​the article.

6) No element that identifies the author should be contained in the file. The article itself should start on the second page.

7) Notes should be inserted in the footer of the article if they are absolutely necessary for understanding the text and should be numbered sequentially.

8) The citations and references contained in the document must obey the rules of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards - ABNT.

9) The article should be submitted electronically only at http://www.gestaoesociedade.org/. All communications must necessarily be made through the website.

10) At the time of submission, the authors must be electronically registered as "authors" (Registration / submissions online) and fill in all the data requested by the system, including the biography of authors and ORCID identifier.

11) There is a limit of 8 graphical elements (tables, pictures, figures, maps, etc). Papers that do not comply with this limit will be returned to the authors for adequacy.


Reviews
These constitute an annotated and critical synthesis of recently published works in the area of ​​business administration and the like, being a relevant and current reference for students, researchers and scholars in the area.

Maximum length of 9,000 characters. Paper size A-4; upper and left margins = 3 cm; bottom and right = 2 cm; Text editor: Word for Windows 6.0 or later, Times New Roman, size 12, and spacing 1.5. Graphic file containing a copy of the cover of the reviewed book should be attached.


Teaching Cases
These aim to present either a certain organizational reality, a problem or a practical situation, and simulates real situations so that it can be used as a didactic method for training in the area of ​business ​administration and the like.

Maximum length of 15 pages. Paper size A-4; upper and left margins = 3 cm; bottom and right = 2 cm; Text editor: Word for Windows 6.0 or later, Times New Roman characters, size 12, and spacing 1.5.

Discussions and Debates

Carry out guest works and reports prepared by specialists, dedicated to the discussion of aspects relevant to Brazilian society, as well as to management practices.
