About the Journal

The Management & Society is a quartely electronic journal edited by the Research and Graduate Center in Administration of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Its mission is the dissemination of academic, scientific and technical work related to management in its different fields of interest and interconnections, allowing its reflection in the context of contemporary society. M&S receives contributions in continuous flow for peer reviews by the double blind review system. The Management and Society Magazine is classified in the QUALIS-CAPES Quadrennium 2013-2016 system (Public Administration and Business, Accounting and Tourism, Political Science and International Relations, Environmental Sciences, Communication and Information, Economics, Education, Engineering III, Interdisciplinary, Medicine I, Urban and Regional Planning / Demography, Psychology, Collective Health, Social Service and Sociology).

Free access

Management & Society offers free and immediate access to its content, following the principle that providing free scientific knowledge to the public fosters a greater global democratization of knowledge.

Digital Preservation

Based on Open Journal Systems (OJS), a management and publishing system developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), the magazine Gestão e Sociedade adheres to the LOCKSS program of the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) that offers decentralized and distributed preservation, perpetual and continuous access and preservation of the original authentic version of the articles and content of the journal.
