Uso da internet: análise do relacionamento entre tipos de atividades, fatores de rejeição e condições

Resumo

O objetivo principal do trabalho foi explorar o relacionamento entre gênero, idade e escolaridade e os tipos de atividades e fatores de rejeição ao uso da Internet. Por meio de revisão de literatura e dados secundários disponibilizados pelo Centro de Estudos sobre as Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (CETIC) foi possível verificar que esses aspectos sociodemográficos representam fonte incompleta para entendimento do uso da Internet. Do ponto de vista de práticas de gestão e de políticas públicas, sugere-se a necessidade de repensar a forma com que o fenômeno de uso da Internet deve ser enquadrado. Ou seja, entende-se necessário focar em aspectos cognitivos.
